GINGER belongs to the Zingiberaceae family and comes from the Karnataka- Kerla state in India.
It is used in many of the same dishes as TURMERIC and these sun-dried roots complement each other extremely well. They are said to have remarkable health benefits – possibly even more so together with grated PEPPER.
